Comfort & fit — For greater comfort, a breathable mesh fabric is used as the outer material all around. The 3D air mesh insert on the back supports air circulation.  

Airbags for everyone — The eVest 2 will be available for the first time in specially tailored women's sizes from D-S to D-3XL.

The eVest Pro features a completely redesigned performance airbag that not only protects the chest, back, and neck, but now also the ribs and shoulders. 

For additional protection in the event of a frontal impact, the eVest Pro offers the option of retrofitting a two-piece chest protector. 

The outer material of the eVest Pro has been completely redesigned and is now made entirely of lightweight and breathable mesh fabric. Inside, a 3D air mesh insert on the back ensures that the incoming airflow can circulate.

The advantages of the new In&motion Performance Module come into play on the racetrack and off-road. The new design of the airbag was derived directly from experience in motorsports. The protection zones have been adapted for intensive sporting use in competition and training to provide protection in the event of side falls, which are more common in these situations.

The PERFORMANCE airbag is the right airbag for anyone who mainly rides off-road or on racetracks and only occasionally on the road.

Airbag technology from In&motion

For almost 10 years, In&motion has been developing high-performance airbag systems that are improving year after year thanks to continuous optimization of fall detection and protection.

The intelligent algorithm is constantly being adapted by a team of data scientists to achieve the 2024 target of 100 – 0 (100% detected falls, 0% premature deployments).

Five different detection modes – Road, Track, Adventure, MX, and Adventure Race – enable maximum precision. There is also a separate detection mode for equestrian sports.


Using 3 acceleration sensors, 3 gyroscopes, and a GPS module, the riding situation is monitored 1000 times per second so that, if a dangerous situation is detected, the airbag and thus the entire protective effect can be fully deployed within just 60 milliseconds. 

FIM Racing Homologation 

The Performance Airbag Module from In&motion used in the eVest Pro 

  • complies with the motorsport regulations of: FIM: MotoGP, WSBK, EWC, DMBS (Germany), FFM (France), RFME (Spain), FMI (Italy), ACU (England) 
  • A vent ring is required for the inflator to allow air to escape quickly, enabling the rider to return to the race 30 seconds after deployment. 

The In&box – the “brain” of the vest

Held's electronic airbag vests offer maximum safety and maximum comfort for motorcyclists. At the heart of the vests is the In&box from French system supplier In&motion.

DETECT - PROTECT - PERFECT

Continuous optimization of the algorithm by In&motion

[DETECT] Inside the control module, an intelligent algorithm works 1000 times per second to determine the rider's acceleration and position using built-in sensors and, in the event of an accident, deploys the airbag in a fraction of a second.


[PROTECT] The airbag inflates in less than 60 milliseconds at the optimum pressure to absorb the impact energy, stabilize the wearer's body, prevent spinal injuries, and protect vital organs.


[PERFECT] Thanks to the data collected by the In&box, In&motion can continuously improve the system and the detection strategy. Data sharing is optional and independent of receiving updates.

Held eVest Pro

The eVest Pro is an airbag vest with a front zipper that can be worn under any standard motorcycle jacket. This vest features the new PERFORMANCE airbag from In&motion. It was specially developed for the demands of motorsports with the aim of effectively preventing injuries that frequently occur there after sideways falls, such as broken collarbones and ribs.

Held eVest Clip-in

The eVest Clip-in is an airbag vest that can be integrated into any compatible Held jacket using clip-in technology. The eVest Clip-in requires the In&box control module (item 92070.21), which is installed in the back shell of the vest. All hardware and software is included in the garment, meaning that no sensors need to be installed on the motorcycle and no connection between the vest and the motorcycle is required.
